I’m a Joomla noob and am going through the process of learning the system, so please bear with me.

I have installed a bunch of free (but ugly) Joomla themes and they all work fine with my cheapo GoDaddy hosting plan. I purchased a membership here for the JA Teline theme, but it does not display correctly — in fact, none of the recent themes display correctly. I downloaded an older one (JA Antares) and it works fine, but none of the newer ones work.

Is the version of Joomla that GoDaddy has installed (1.0.12) incompatible with the newer themes?

After I FTP the templates to the templates directory on the web server, they show up in the Templates Manager, but I don’t get a thumbnail “snap” image when I hover over the name.

Any ideas?

Try to reupload the template by ftp or use the installation manager in joomla, it seems like that all files isnt uploaded correctly.

Ah, thanks. I used the installation manager rather than FTP’ing it over and it worked. Thanks again.
