I run the purity iii demo ( http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#purity_iii ) through the CSS validator:
https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

It gave 2 errors and 85 warnings.

Is this something that the devs will try to fix?

I run my website, which I thought it was ready. It gave 70 errors and 442 warnings.

It is worth noting that Cloudflare will not minify files if they have HTML, CSS, JS errors or warnings:

I checked above link, they validate the compressed css file in ‘t3-assets’ folder which is temporary folder keeping the compressed css/js files only, if you have your site online, try to disable the Optimize CSS option under Template manager section and test again.

I tested it like you said. I have much more errors and warnings now:

However, since the errors are happening in the purity demo site too, I don;t think there is a problem in my website in particular.

Hi,

The problem here is that Purity III is built with Bootstrap framework and when developing with LESS, you must use @import statement to import necessary variables which are declared in different LESS files.

Hope you understand.
