I just downloaded JA_Rutile from here http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=755 and when I try to install it, it says:

<blockquote>JInstaller::install: File ‘/var/tmp/install_4b25845a348fb/css/ja.news.fp.css’ does not exist.</blockquote>

I checked inside the template zip and that file doesn’t appear to be there. It isn’t in the Quickstart version either.

Any ideas on this please?

It is so hard to debug this issue.

Could you please submit a ticket, send us your live url, admin account, ftp account so that we have a closer look on the issue?

Additional, open /var/tmp/ folder, delete all files and install this module again.

OK – I tried cleaning out the tmp folder but it got the same message. Logged a ticket with you: WEX-908303

Hi

To fix this issue, please open templateDetails.xml file, find following code section:

<filename>css/ja.news.fp.css</filename>

and remove it.

Reported as bug and if confirmed, the download files will be updated.

Hi tgtff,
I had the same problem and I solved it as follows:
– extract the file named “mod_janews_fp.css” from the file “ja_rutile.zip”
– rename “mod_janews_fp.css” to “ja.news.fp.css”
– put the file “ja.news.fp.css” in a folder named “css”
– add the folder “css” to “ja_rutile.zip”
