    Hello,

I’d like custom the 404 error page with a joomla article without hacking joomla code, but if possible in htaccess file.
I put some redirection rules in htaccess before, but with JA_SOCIAL_II, redirection does not work anymore.
Another working idea would be good.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

You can try to change it from templates/ja_social_ii/error.php file, hope it helps

    Hello,

It works now for 404 error.

But i’ve just found out that my htaccess rules for 502, 503 and 504 errors don’t work with ja_social_ii.
Can i redirect these error pages to joomla articles using the error.php also ?

And i denoted that the joomla favicon appears sometimes while i set a custom favicon in templates/ja_social_ii. Is there another location i must change the favicon ?

    Best regards.

Try to define the error pages as my screenshot here with 502, 503 and 504 errors for your site.

About the favicon.ico, the default directory recommended by Joomla is in template folder: templates/ja_social_ii, try to clean cache & cookies in order to see it.

    Hi,

For as the error pages shown on your screenshot, u know, actually, i’m not a developer; so i have no idea of the way to define them; I managed to redirect 500 error pages to joomla articles using some htaccess rules, but since i installed ja_social_ii, my rules don’t work anymore.
I really need to continue redirect 500 error pages to joomla articles only either within your template or with some custom htaccess rules if possible, or through another way u can explain me.

    Regards.

ps: please make sure i will be able to view your reply.

@win: I checked on your site and you can apply the solution here and make a custom work with 500 error page and forward them to the article.
