I don’t know it is correct image positioning or it’s just on my side.
On category blog layout, when I have image in the beginning of text and image’s position is set to right and clear is set to none. It stays celared text on the left on category blog view. When I open it, it is like it’s set in article.
So I assume the question is where to change category blog layout?
Am I correct?

If you can post your site url and screenshot for the issue, i might be able to help you out. Right now its difficult to guess the issue and solution without actually being able to see it.
