June 29, 2016 at 7:46 pm #945556Hello, I am having the same issue. I created the custom.css file for use with purity III. When I created it I made one line of code to test it, stting the background color to ‘Red’ and it worked. Obviously I didn’t want this so I removed it and saved, but it is still loading it and none of the other lines of code. My site is stbcreative.com. Here is what the CSS is saved as now.
body {
}
.page-header {
background: red;
}.slide_top {
background-image: url(‘stbcreative.com/images/mtns_blue_slide.png’);
width:100%;
height:10%;

July 1, 2016 at 5:09 am #945969it works now
I backuped up the contents of ta-assets directory and empty it
the site loaded without css
and after a while it was fine but few changes were not updated
so I restored from the files I backed up -
