Awhile back I made a template.css file change for a client’s website. I changed the colors slightly and made amends to the majority of the default icons throughout the website. But for some reason somewhere along the way while I was filling out articles and posting content to the site, the template reverted back to the default one. I checked my custom one to see if everything was still correct and nothing was wrong. I was wondering if anyone on this site can help me remedy this problem?

    Hi

Could you post an url to your website ? and also a temp super user account for it ?

Also it is not clear to me if custom.css is still on your website or what ?

I never used the custom.css file, the one I made amends to was the template.css file and just made some minor color/icon changes through the website. And it was working perfectly fine and everything looked the way it was supposed to, but for some reason, when I went to add articles, edit modules and module positions, etc. the template reverted back to the default one and not the custom one, with no changes to the template.css file. I cant exactly figure out why

    Hi

Actually your website is taking css from /local folder here /templates/ja_medicare/local/css/template.css

you can try to move template.css from this folder /templates/ja_medicare/css/template.css to /local folder and rename template.css in local folder orig_template.css and see if your changes are applied again

Next time for your customizations you should use a custom.css file, in this way you can avoid such type of problems.

I tried that and nothing changed. and editing the template.css file has always worked for me before with no problems. I feel like it has something to do with the template assignment in the back end of the site, I had to make some changes with the main logo earlier on in the devolopment of this webpage and one of the steps to do so (I read on a forum post somewhere) was to make sure all of the pages are assigned to the default template. I have a hunch thats what caused the issue but I have no idea how to fix it.
