    Hi,
    how can I:

    1. create a custom html with the same effect (flipping, etc.) as with the articles?
    2. display the title of the custom html as overlay on the image?
    3. Link the image of the article directly to a component?

    thanks!

    Hi

    1. If it’s a custom HTML module, I think you need to style by yourself to have that effect.

    2. Could post your site url here and screenshot of how you want to achieve?

    3. Do you mean link image in a specific article? you may add that link to image in backend settings of that article.

    Hi there,

    oh…self-styling is somewhat difficult for a non-expert 😉

    my site is http://www.myartforrent.com

when I mean link, I wish the image displayed (of the article) on the homepage to be linked directly to a specific component (like the contact form), instead of first opening an article and only then the user can click on another link to go to the contact form.

    Hi saswiss,

By default, when you click on image in frontpage, it will direct you to article details page. If you want to link to a specific component, you need to customize in code of com_content to achieve that.

If you’re not familiar with code, you should hire a developer to get it done for you.

    Regards
