October 22, 2013 at 5:20 pm #191616Hello,
I need to change the masshead module with a custom html module including a JA slideshow.
I create a JA slideshow module “mod_slide1” with “slide1” position. I assign the slidesohw module on all pages.
I create a custom HTML module “custom1”. I Insert only “{loadposition slide1} or {loadmodule mod_slide1} in the page code.
I check that the plugin loadmodule is enabled. It doesn’t work.
May i forget something ???Does someone have a tips ? 😉
Many thanks

October 23, 2013 at 2:24 am #509905Hi inazone,
Basically, loading another module within Custom HTML module is not recommended. Because it requires the Prepare Content enabled and the layout can be problematic on Chrome. The detail reference can be found at http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_put_a_module_inside_an_article%3F
In your case, it will be easier if you create a Slideshow module at home-1 position and put the below mentioned suffix into Module Suffix class of module backend.
grid-2×2 grid-pos-1 slideshow
Make sure you leave a empty space before the suffix.
