I am working on a new site and I wanted to use the AUTO setting for the ja-purity II template. I am using the custom HTML module to display ads and this is working fine with one problem.
The module displays with an outline…which again is fine but when using the AUTO setting the right hand side of the outline doesnt display. The top, bottom and left hand side display but the right is missing.
I dont think its a wide issue as I have the “who is online” module display just above and its ok.
The ads I am using are 120×600 so are definetly not to wide. I’ve also applied a style _green to the module and it displays without problem and looks like the whose online…but when I remove the style the right hand line is still not displaying.
If I use the WIDE setting for the template the right hand side does display so it seems to be related to the AUTO setting.

October 16, 2011 at 10:03 pm #419692Can you provide the url to the site you are working on?
October 17, 2011 at 11:05 am #419767I was doing some more testing with this and it seems to be related to a combination of screen resolution and browser.
I did some redesign and for now will be using the banner module to display the ads in the right position rather than the custom html module. This seems more predictable although I still get some oddities with different lines missing from the outline at times…but I am happy that in the majority of cases this will display correctly and when it doesn’t the missing outline doesn’t really impact.
Is there a way to style the module that would remove the boundary outline surrounding the contents…I think that would resolve the problem totally.

October 19, 2011 at 3:43 am #420120I would still need to see the url of the site you’re working on – to get a better (visual) idea of what you’re referring to.
October 19, 2011 at 9:07 am #420164I have the module removed now but I’ve added a screen shot of what it looked like.
You can see that the right hand side of the outline boundary is missing….sometimes its the bottom boundary line thats missing.
