I’m adding horizontal login & cart modules above the menu on my site. I’ve got the modules appearing where they should, but they’re stacked one above the other, and are the standard 25% width. I’d like to adjust the width and have them appear side by side.
What I’ve done so far is to add a line in the default layout code as follows:
<block name="cart-login" type="modules" main-inner="1" specialwidth="100" special="right">cart,login</block>
What I want is for the entire block to be floated right, with the two items inside the block beside each other. How do I do that?
You can see the website (in progress) here: http://coastalsails.com/newsite/

But how to change the width and make them float right? Current code is:
<block name="cart-login" type="spotlight" specialwidth="50" special="right">cart,login</block>

Please look at http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides#Default_Layout where can help you get more about how to customize layoutRegards,
July 17, 2012 at 2:55 pm #461173Thanks — that helped a lot and really helped me understand the framework. I was able to change the block width, but not the module width within the block. Is there a way to do that?

You need modify in stylesheet. If you can not to do, disable optimize css method in template setting, send me a screenshot where you want to modify. I shall have a look and help you out.Regards,

I don’t think I really understand the framework, so in the interest of time, I’m trying to just work with what it “wants” to do, rather than change everything.
Thanks for your help.
