February 28, 2015 at 3:12 am #204194Is it possible to add a custom placeholder attribute within a search box or filter box? For example, under “- Select Tags -” I would like to add custom text “Hashtag”, or under “Postal Code” (extra field) I want to use custom text “ZIP” etc.
Something like this:

March 2, 2015 at 10:03 am #561211Hi Suzana,
JA K2 Filter doesn’t support to add place holder in input box, we’ll add this feature in next version. I have created a ticket for you to follow the status: http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JAK2FILTER-184

August 17, 2015 at 10:34 am #662375Hi Suzanna,
To resolve your problem, You can download the mod_jak2filter.zip package, then unzip and overwrite in the path: YOUR_SITE/modules/mod_jak2flter. And download the en-GB.mod_jak2filter.zip file, then unzip and overwrite the file in the path:
YOUR_SITE/language/en-GB.
Now, you can add custom placeholder attribute within a search box or filter box in the back-end setting of JA K2 Search and Filter Module.
Hope this’s helpful with you. Please tell me the result.
