I have added custom pointers using the documentation but the images I have uploaded for the pointers does not appear when the custom pointer is selected. The images were uploaded in png format to the folder public_html/modules/mod_jaimagehotspot/assets/images. Permission for all files is the same (0644)

Each pointer can be selected from the drop down. A blank marker (a white circle with a green border) then shows up on the map, but when i click “Add Marker” the pointer disappears from the map and leaves no image behind. I can see that the pointer was added because my mouse cursor changes when i hover over the spot that the pointer was added.

What is preventing my images from being used by my custom pointers?

    Thanks,

    Hi @ahmadi21,

For basic customization, you can learn to use Firebug.

I’m afraid that if you’re not familiar with this task, you must have a valid subscription in order to get any further assistance in such technical matter.

Im not sure i understand the purpose of Firebug. The JA Hotspot documentation explains how to add your own custom poniters, which i did. I updated the code just as the documentation instructed and uploaded my PNG images to the correct folder. Why do i need a whole new plug in to make my customizations work?

    Hi @ahmadi21,

It’s a debug tool for you to check if there’s any problem with your customization. We already provide a detail documentation so you can customize the JA Hotspot at basic level. You will need valid membership subscription in order to get technical assistance in this case or you can hire a developer to customize it if you’re not familiar with this task.
