I have recently signed up for joomlart … and decided on ja_antares as our site template.
To be specific I am looking to have a basic site … similar to the following one http://www.winktolearn.com
No problem with removing items but having a problem with creating the three boxes that we see in the middle of the screen.
Last thing is does anyone know what they are using for the login / password module … it is not the standard.
Can somone please advise me as to what I should do for this and if it should just be HTML code or is there a module that I should be using …. thank you .

June 19, 2008 at 2:42 am #254525Hi spikestik,
To create 3 boxes like the demo, or the site you posted. Please publish your module to these position: user8, user9,top:
These module use the module prefix, you can define them in the box call Module Prefix when you are in that module configuration. Here are these prefix:
-blue
-green
-orange

June 20, 2008 at 3:57 am #254813Hi spikestik,
From your first post, I though you are asking for the three boxes of JA Antares.
For the problems you’ve post, honestly I have no idea what really happen. So if possible, please provide me your site URL and administrator account to investigate the issue.
Thank youJune 20, 2008 at 9:29 am #254924currently I am working on a test ystem that does not have Internet access…. what I can say is that there is a duplicate site up and running http://www.wintolearn.com that I am trying to mimic… maybe if you look at that it may spark an idea?
thank you
June 20, 2008 at 6:34 pm #255027I think that I know what is going on….
Managed to get a copy of the index.php from the site I like….
looks like they are using split menu …
there is an option in the instructions to be able to do this… however there is no line 32 in the index.php file as the instructions state……This time, JA Antares offers you 3 types of our traditional menu, but in the other way: vertical. The menus applied are JA Split Menu, JA CSS Menu and JA Transmenu
To choose your menu type, go to the 32rd line in the “ja_antares/ index.php” and change $ja_menutype to what you need.
1 is Split Menu, 2 is CSS Menu and 3 is Transmenu.June 20, 2008 at 7:54 pm #255052I have it figured out…. what a Pain In The Keaster…..
What I found is that you need to change the parameter in template manager … to split menu.
then you need to take the home link from main menu in menu manager and point it to top menu….
which then makes top menu the default….Now all I need to do is figure out how to expand the width of the banner image.
Thank you again
