Saguaros,

After I follow the instruction to upgrade my T3 v2 to T3 (then make sure T3 is disabled from plugin).
I also uninstall the JA university template then reinstall the file that came with T3 package, now I have an odd problem:
my joomla administrator login screen background went form “blue” to “white”?! and when I try to save some changes in template managers it wouldn’t allow me to save anything but no errors either!

Please help me take a look and give me some ideas, I followed everything and I’m at a lost now.

I’ll PM you the site info.
Please help! thanks!

I logged into back-end of your site but all worked properly.

Did you get it solved?

Saguaros – event ought the blue background came back, and I’m not sure why, since I have not done anything to that site. But the problems are still there. I’ll send you another PM with details if you can check your inbox and let me know, thanks.

I still having issue such as adding new users and it won’t let me save in anyway and no errors either.

This problem relates to Joomla more than our template. I thought it comes from the upgrade of Joomla you proceed on your site.

It does sounds like it, but the timing of this happening makes me suspect that has anything to do with the upgrade of both T3 v2 to T3 and JA university. Right after I uninstall and reinstall the new T3 framework + JA University template, the blue went away in the admin site and when I went into create a new test user for your support that’s when I realize I can’t create any new users….
Which all was fine before I did the T3 + JA university template upgrade.

I understand it might not have anything to do with the Joomlart upgrade, but since the timing was prefect and I have no other clues, I just need to know from you guys — or at least to rule it out and seek other direction.

PS. I did Joomla 2.5.28 to Joomla 3.4.3 upgrade without any issues, no problem after that until I did the T3 upgrade as I describe above. Before that, running on T3 v2 was fine as well.

Let me know your thoughts on this, thanks.

There are differences between Joomla 2.5 vs 3.x. After upgrading to 3.4, you can try to purge all caches and go to extension manager > Database > click the ‘Fix’ button. Then try to create new use again.

If problem still persists, you can check the error message and make a quick search in Joomla forum. I believe there are discussion for any upgrade issue.
