I’m wishing to do some customizing of the CSS.

I do not want to customize the themes files directly as they’ll be overwritten with a template upgrade.

Several threads talks about using custom.css but don’t mention where it is.

The T3 documents talk overriding using custom.css but the files it says to modify don’t exist. I cloned ja_mero through the joomla backend, but no copy of the theme exists, and the original has no custom.css file I can find either.

    So I’m a little confused!

    Using 3.0 quickstart.

    Guidance appreciated,
    /david

    Hi icerat,

I want to remind the features of custom.css file again here:

<blockquote>The file is included by default, you don’t need to create new one.
The file is the last file to be called in your template so it will not be overridden.
The file is not a compiled file from LESS so it will not be overridden or lost when you compile</blockquote>

    >> But You still have to back up this file before you upgrade template or Joomla !!!

    >> On your concern, with JA Mero 3.0 you can find this file in path: <blockquote>templatesja_merocss</blockquote> .

    Regards,

    Leo
