    Hello there,

    i´m customizing your jobboard for licence bankjob.de but i´m not able to find some places where i can do some translations. As you can see, there are some english words, that i can´t find in the customization fields or files. (Eg: accounting, finacy, information technology… or in JB login: * Forgot your password?
    * Forgot your username?
    * Create an account
    )

    Please tell me, where can i change them?

    Also there is a problem with the Menus: If i rename eg the employee menu to german language, no content, no links will be displayed. When i rename them back to your default, the links will appear? What am i doing wrong?

    Hi there,

    – Once Job Board component and modules are installed, their attached language files shall be copied and pasted into the folder <root>/language/en-GB (front-end)
    – Job Board front-end has the below language files:
    + en-GB.com_jajobboard.ini
    + en-GB.mod_jafeatured_employer.ini
    + en-GB.mod_jafilter_jobs.ini
    + en-GB.mod_jajobboard_menu.ini
    + en-GB.mod_jalatest_resumes.ini
    + en-GB.mod_jalist_employers.ini
    + en-GB.mod_jalist_jobs.ini
    + en-GB.mod_jarecent_viewed_jobs.ini
    >> Kindly copy the above files and pasted into other language files for translation
    More guide can be found via: http://wiki.joomlart.com/index.php?title=JA_Job_Board/How_to#Make_your_site_multiple_languages

    – Also there is a problem with the Menus: If i rename eg the employee menu to german language, no content, no links will be displayed. When i rename them back to your default, the links will appear? What am i doing wrong?
    => You can rename menu tittle but not ‘unique name’ because JB menu module incorporates unique name to show menu matching with logging in user type
    + eg: Login user as an employer, a unique name with prefix ’employer-‘ shall be included to show associated menu
    + as for login user as a job seeker, a unique name with prefix ‘job-seeker-‘ shall be used

    Thats ok and i understand it, but i have to translate the modules texts, cause my people don´t want to see english texts and don´t know what a “Job Seeker” is.

    i translated the menus in the “menu”-menu, but the menu itself has still the menutitle job seeker menu.

    and where to translate the shown menulinks i don´t know either

    Hi,

    The title of menu is only used to show in back-end, the title that you see in front-end actually is the title of module JB menu, this module has its own language file.
    And you can edit language file of the module to translate what you want.

    ok, i customized most of the ini-files, and there are only a few things that aren´t translated yet.

    i thought, that only en-GB.com_jajobboard.ini has to be translated throught the backend interface.

    Thank you
