February 13, 2013 at 9:41 am #184922Hello,
Can you help me please to configure date that is showing at top left corner on my site. It isn’t showing right date, look at this picture:
It needs to show 13.02.2013. not 12.02.2013., my Standard Time Zone is GMT/UTC + 01:00 hour.
Best wishes.

February 13, 2013 at 9:46 am #483288The time and date are picked up from your server. If that is incorrect then the date on your site will be too. If you have root access and you are on a linux box please check your date using the command outlined here – http://linux.about.com/od/commands/l/blcmdl1_date.htm

February 13, 2013 at 12:41 pm #483298Phill thank you on your replay, I didn’t have to type commands on my server, because I went to my cPanel, and found this:
Date on my site is still 12.02.2013.. What you think what is a problem? Can I set another date, to show it from my Time Zone?
Edit/update: I have cleared cache, so it is now showing 13.02.2013.. Hmm, can I set this date to show it from my Time Zone not server time?

February 13, 2013 at 1:22 pm #483307What you have to remember is that this is simply a last update time and not a realtime clock. Yes, you could give it an offset (set the time zone in the Joomla back end) but it is still not going to be spot on depending on your cache settings etc.
