December 6, 2011 at 11:03 am #171513I know there are lots of threads about changing the date format and I believe I have checked most if not all of them, however I still haven’t found a solution for part of the date format. I have attached an image of the format problem.
I have successfully installed the joomla 1.7 cyrillic translation package and udated the server so it picked up the actual date format with relevent translations. Apparaently the translation package does not have translations for “th”, “rd”, “st” that comes after the numerical value of the day of the month.
I tried to find in the english language files where these will be in order to replace them with appropriate translations, however couldn’t find any. I guess they are not in a language file.
Hope anyone can help.
Regards! Stoyan

December 6, 2011 at 11:10 am #428212thanks for the quick responce.
website (testing yet) is at http://www.bulgariaholidays.com/doktorzdrave.com/Ideally I want to know how to control these, I might decide to remove them completeley, otherwise they will have to be replaced with cyrillic letters.

December 7, 2011 at 8:48 am #428348You replace this code from /templates/ja_teline_iii_v2/blocks/header.php
echo "<span class="date">, ".date ('M')." ".date ('d').date ('S')."</span>";
with
echo "<span class="date">, ".date ('M')." ".date ('d')."</span>";
