November 20, 2010 at 5:45 am #363519The only wayout I could found right now – was to look at date of component’s folder creation (components/com_your_component) in a FTP client.
Joomla does not register installation date anywhere in the database.November 20, 2010 at 10:18 am #363534yes, ok, but how to look at date of folder creation in my cpanel?
Plz help.

Cpanel misses the date column, so you cannot find out with it folder creation date.
Use another FTP explorer, for example I use FireFTP with FireFox.November 20, 2010 at 3:10 pm #363546THANX VERY MUCH FOR QUICK REPLY.
But me not understood clearly.
I opened http://fireftp.mozdev.org/
But not understand how to proceed.
May I request you to plz guide step by step how to find the date of installation of syret video module on joomla.

November 20, 2010 at 5:48 pm #363558FireFTP works in FireFox browser as an add-on.
If I’m not mistaken, via FTP you can find only creation date as in case of modification, the file is re-written completely. So, it’s not as on Win OS – created/modified/accessed. Only one date – date of creation which is = to modification date. -
