Hi

I would like to know that if I add an extra field in the registration form, will it still remain when I upgrade the version of JA job board.

No worries as all database including your customizations will be kept after upgrading to the next version.

Thanks for your reply. I had few more queries regarding retaining changes when upgrading the version.

1. If I change the order of fields and ‘essential’ fields in the registration forms, will these changes stay even after upgrading the version

2. If I change the standard email templates (sent out automatically by Job Board), will these customized mails can be retained even after upgrading the version.

The point that I am trying to make is that I have done these small small but significant and labourious changes in the job board. I dont want to lose these customization after upgrade, so ‘If I replace only those files (php, HTML, CSS) which were changed / modified’ will it work?

Hope you can understand my point and suggest a good way to overcome this significant problem
