Just want to know how to deactivate de IE6 warning that appears at the top of the site. I don’t want it to show ever.

I know it provides a “don’t show again” checkbox, but I don’t want the warning to appear even one time.

    Thanks!

I had the same issue but even worse… this message appeared even on google chrome and on explorer 7+8…

a quick solution was to navigate using FTP to /www/templates/ja_rasite/layouts/blocks/ie6
and to rename both php & css files so that they cannot be located, this is a very raw solution-
temporarily it works but I’m looking forward for a better solution since I would like to warn ie6 users in the future…
this is the address of my current project:

    Ok, but there I see:

    Styling the warning

To style the IE6 warning, locate the file ie6warning.css located in templates/ja_purity_ii/layouts/ie6 and open it with your code editor. “

but Resite in css folder has not the cssfile named ‘ie6warning.css’ to edit it.

Please can you help me to locate it to style and “language” it?! 😉

    Thanks in advance (grazie!).
