    Hello,

I have just installed Ja teline IV for J2.5 from the quick start. after performing some costomizations, I noticed that the default joomla first page content (the way joomla shows front page items) is showing after the JA News Pro Module (I just use linear layout). I controled all the modules but there is nothing active there.

please help me how to remove the default joomla after the JA News Pro Module in the home page.

    regards,
    Mehdi

    Greetings Mehdi:
Can you, perhaps, be a bit more specific with your issue and question/request?

Are you trying to get a certain element/module to display – and it isn’t?

Tom, I have same problem. See here: http://jatct4j25.globalprintmonitor.info/index.php/ind-news/3d-printing and click on any article link / readmore. But doesn’t happen on links from Home page ??

Still not quite sure what you mean? Can you give a little more detail regarding your problem.

Assuming you are replying to me 🙂 My question is how do I set up the Menu for http://jatct4j25.globalprintmonitor….ws/3d-printing so that I don’t get the same menu content displayed above any article accessed from this page? Links to articles on the Home page do NOT exhibit the same unwanted menu content.

When I go to that page I see no content so I am still not quite sure what you are after.

Sorry Phil, I just edited a different menu’s Module assignment and on saving it affected the one I referenced. There seems to be contagion across Module assignment settings – has happened several times to me. If you now see the menu’s content here http://jatct4j25.globalprintmonitor.info/index.php/ind-news/3d-printing and click on any Readmore you should see the article (scroll down) but the menu content (i.e. http://jatct4j25.globalprintmonitor.info/index.php/ind-news/3d-printing ) is displayed above the article content. How to remove it?

    Hi dear TomC

For more information, I have attached a full image of the front page of my website. You can see it here:
    http://www.vojoudi.com/jatelineIV.gif

As you see, I have specified 2 parts. The green section is the JA News – Linear Layout and its OK.

Bellow the “JA News Pro Module” I have specified a red section which is the repeat of the featured news. I want to remove it.
it was not in the first installation of the Ja Teline IV and I don’t know how it is appeared there.

Both the links in your above page are the same link. When I click on either I see the following

    <a href=”http://easycaptures.com/3048122026″ target=”_blank”><img alt=”FireShot Pro Screen Capture” src=”http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/468/thumbs/3048122026_m.jpg” border=”0″></a><br/><a href=”http://easycaptures.com/3048122026″ target=”_blank”>View Screen Capture</a>

Can you post images of your problem so I can see what it might be?

See attached screen grab of the “Morris Technologies …” article in IND NEWS > 3D Printing. Notice the content of the 3D Prining menu above the article. This now happens if I get the article via the Home page too 🙁

So you do not want that bit at the top? Please PM me a super admin logon and a link you your site so I can take a look. I am guessing that you simply need to go into the module manager for that module and set which menu items it appears on.

Well …. You got rid of the unwanted menu contents above the article, but now the IND NEWs > 3D Printing menu content is AWOL 🙁
