I had two different profiles for a site I was working on, using Portfolio.

For some reason I now forget, I had set my “default” All Pages profile to the one without a menu, but then assigned all the pages individually to the “backpage” profile, which had a megamenu.

I think that it might have been because the Home page was behaving oddly because of the non-standard way that I was using Default.

This worked for a while, but seemed to start performing irregularly.

The point that I think I am observing is that *Default* is liike a privileged, special name, and it seems that the All Pages row in the Template Global should be aligned with Default.

So, I had to switch things around, which meant that the layout formerly known as “back” became “front”, and instead of assigning the many pages to the back template, switched to assigning the ONE front page to “front”.

So, this is kind of a note to self, but I hope that it might help someone, because T3 will let you reassign Default to something other than All Pages, but in my experience, you do so at your own peril. Feel free to correct me if you understand better.

    Thanks!

    Hello mate !

I still do not understand clearly on your issue ?

as normal way, the site is used only for all pages. So that you need to select the Default Theme for the All Page. in the case that you would like make some menu items having different themes, you have to select a theme for each menu Item
