After reorganizing the magazine menu, the (Teline IV) default Home page layout totally changed. (see image)
How can I make the layout on my home page look again like default template?Joomla! 3.1.1

September 19, 2013 at 3:18 am #506297Hi
Did you solve it? As I can see, homepage layout in your site looks the same as our demo site:

Let me know if you still need helps.

November 1, 2013 at 4:02 pm #510912same problem. I have install teline iv over 5 times, and the problem still exists… When I reorganizing menu magazine, the layout is changed even if i disable LAYOUT menu, and ja-news 2 and ja-news 3 modules.

November 1, 2013 at 4:22 pm #510919Personally, I actually kind of like the way that looks – at least for an idea I’ve been thinking about.
What/How exactly are you ‘reorganizing” within your main nav menu that has been resulting in the image you provided?

If i do a large move ( from position 2 to 5) the mess comes up. I figured out that if i will done slows moves (step by step ) to positions off the menus (menu position 3 to go to 4), the site looks alright.

November 5, 2013 at 8:25 pm #511287Hi, I have the same problem. I was reorganizing th Magazin menu and suddenly my front page was gone. Now i have only the articles link from the home menu.. I tried the method to move back the menu items only one by one place but it didn´t work for me. The home page is broken.
The site is ccnc.saiff.no

November 6, 2013 at 2:32 pm #511366Hi saiffadmin,
You just need to turn off the Default of Home menu item (Main Menu), so that the template will display the Home item (Magazine) as the only Default of website. Remember to clear JAT3 cache then.

Can you be more specific please, with step by step? Don’t know how to do this, because I can’t turn off default of Home menu item (Main Menu).
Thank you!

December 25, 2013 at 2:35 am #516447Hi mesasel,
You can try to follow these steps carefully:
– Go to Main Menu >> Set Home to on of menu items that i marked with a red arrow. Just click on the silver star.
Do not care about the warning message and just move to 2nd step.– Then go to magazine menu, set Home again to Home menu item of this menu. Clear JAT3 cache after updating changes.
That is all !-
