When I publish a new into a category, you can see it publish inmediatly in this category, but doesn´t publish into ja_news categories inmediatly, there is a delay about 4 o 5 hour until it publish.
I have installed Joomla 1.5.9, ja_quillaja last version, and JA News 1.1.2.
Thanks for your help!

February 11, 2009 at 10:28 am #290644Maybe you have to refresh the browser, or clean out old cookies. Or you could try viewing the site in the different browser. It could be that the changes take place right away and are seen by other visitors to your site, but that you don’t see them right away.
February 11, 2009 at 5:39 pm #290701Sunrise, first at all, thank you very much for your help. I’m afraid that solution doesn´t solve my problem. I used another browser (I used firefox and IE browser, both last version.) and happens the same thing. Besides me another client report me the same problem. I tried to refresh the cache, and the problem persist.
You can see: http://www.portalforestal.com/ and for ie category: informacion/desarrollo sostenible both first news must be the same, but no match. Well at 3 or 4 hour to be included.questbg Friendquestbg

February 12, 2009 at 5:21 am #290824This sounds strange!
Does the time and date on your PC match exactly the Time Zone settings in Global Config?

You hit the nail on the head. I have had this very problem. Time seems to have everything to do with it. There is the Time Zone in the Global Config, and there is the server time which for me is Arizona time, then there is my timezone which is Alaska. When I publish an article, I set the publish time for the day before. Seems to do the trick.

February 12, 2009 at 12:30 pm #290888No problem, glad I could help!
It’s surprising, once you’ve had a strange problem like this, and then figure out the answer, you never forget! 😀
Good luck with your site.
