I installed this template with the demo content, all looked good. I then replaced most of the demo content with my own. At some point I deleted all the unused categories and articles in the backend to get them out of the way. When I did so, then refreshed my home page, all the formatting and sections are gone – http://dd.billrust.com/new/

How can I got those back? The content on the left, there should be the feature rotator, and all the other sections below that.

    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hi Bill,

Did you try to refer our template documentation to configure the menu/category on homepage menu ?

    Teline IV on T3v2: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-teline-iv

    Teline IV T3: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-teline-iv-for-t3

I did not change any module settings, they are the same as when I installed the quickstart package.

All I have done is renamed the demo categories to my own names, and deleted the original demo content after adding my own and assigning to the new named categories.

    Hi Bill,

You can PM me the site’s credentials including the front-end access and tell me which modules changed after deleting the sample content. I will take a look and reply you a detailed explanation to solve this issue.

Sent you a super user account log-in.

I got the modules back, somehow they got unassigned from a bunch of pages.

Still cannot get categories right in the left column on home page though.

Ok, I got the categories back on the home page. The issue was, I had to replace the specific articles with my own content. Just adding my own articles, then disabling the demo content made them not appear.

Now my issue is, on the home page still, the Joomla content component is under my category groups.

Also, I have the featured news thing at the top of the page assigned to all pages, and only need it on Home, but I can’t remember the name of it 🙁

    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hi Bill,

I would like to answer your new questions in detail as follows:

<blockquote>Now my issue is, on the home page still, the Joomla content component is under my category groups.</blockquote>

Please extract my attached folder to templates/ja_teline_iv/ path on your server. It helps to override the default layout position of our T3v2 plugin to get the feature on JA Teline IV.

<blockquote> I have the featured news thing at the top of the page assigned to all pages, and only need it on Home, but I can’t remember the name of it :-(</blockquote>

You should check out the assigned profile to make sure that the Hide Main content block option was set to No.

And remember to clear JAT3 cache after updating changes.
