May 23, 2012 at 3:55 pm #177448Hi everyone,
Did I miss a post on how to delete the sample content i.e.) twitter, facebook, etc., you don’t want?
I’ve deleted all the sample content from the social plugin imports that I don’t want and have cleared/purged caches, etc., but the old content is still hanging around.
And, I’m not having a blonde moment, this time round. 😀 For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to permanently get rid of the content.

May 23, 2012 at 9:44 pm #454595Hiya
For me I just went to the articles and ticked all and deleted them, as all things imported are kept as articles it worked for me, mind there was 350 plus pages of articles it did take a while, then I purged expired cache, cleaned cache, cleaned teeth, smiled nicely and had a nice clean blank home pageCheers Shannon

I went straight to the database and deleted them out of there. I did mention this on the beta forum – remember that beta came with 100MB+ of data!! I still think they need to get it below 15mb so that the sample data load problem disappears…..

May 24, 2012 at 12:03 am #454609Hi Shannon & Swissa,
Thanks for the response. I ended up going with Swissa and diving into the database tables. PITA is an understatement! But they’re gone. 😀
