I have reviewed the docs and can’t find how to show descriptions on images. It simply doesn’t show. I have the parameter set to Yes and the Description Opacity to 0.5.

Please let me know how to show the descriptions.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Firstly, try to take a backup of your site and upgrade latest version for JA Slideshow module.

If problem still persists, you can send me the credentials of your site e.g: URL, admin account: http://static.joomlart.com/images/blog/2015/nov/Add-new-post.gif

I will check it for you.

    Good Morning.

There was an issue with an update from NoNumber but it is now resolved. I clicked on the link above and it does go to the site and it is displaying the images.

I am so sorry you had this difficulty. Please try again.

I spent a lot of my time to debug the problem on your site and your site is working with

    • JA Edenite template

    • JA Slideshow module with Image type

However, the description is disabled by default from this template.

I used an alternative slideshow module ( JA Slideshow Lite from here ) by downloading & installing into your site. And I configured title and description for 2 images.

Now, you can see the module is showing title and description on your site. You can apply the same for other images.

Let me know if it helps.

Thank you for your assistance and yes it is working. I just fail to understand what you mean by:
"the description is disabled by default from this template"

I believe you are saying that in the Edenite template the description will not work.

Thanks and now it is working.
