Basd on: JA Elastica, Joomla! 2.5.x
Used Extensions: Gavick Tabs GK4 + News Show Pro GK4, PixSearchNG, JoomGallery
The site is our first responsive webdesign attempt. All designs and modules are strongly custimized, e.g. the search-modul or JoomGallery, which has been modified to be “responsive”.
The content is in german only, actually no translations available.

June 21, 2012 at 5:53 pm #458376Good job. I like the background color and the harmony on the page. How long did it take for you to pull this off?

June 22, 2012 at 6:37 am #458442Thank you kuerten for your post.
Concerning your question how long it did take: due to various reasons it is not too easy to say…
– In the first step we spent a lot of time for the two basic illustrations (as seen on frontpage in the first two green-blinking tabs on top left, most graphical elements are based on that and the “old-school”-patterns) and the content.
– The webdesign itself is based on the previous version of the website (see attached png). It was only two months old and then the responsive “elastica” came out and convinced me to adopt it immediately…– while designing and implementing our own website we’re always trying out (more then) a lot and thus explore new techniques/ways
– we were not watching the clock 😉So, to give you an answer, approx. it would take 50 to 100 hours to design and implement a responsive website like this.

November 15, 2012 at 4:09 pm #473032So we refreshed and redesigned the site a little bit (appr. 2 weeks of implementation)
– we created some “full-grid”-modules on the start page
– new look&feel for the tab-modules
– more css3-animations, expecially for the buttons
– the joomla-“blog”-pages are now full-grid as well, without modules on the rightWould love to hear from you!
