I’m using the JA News Frontpage module on my site (under development).

How does the module decide which articles are to be “featured”? That is, I’ve configured it to show six articles and “feature” two of them, but how are those two selected? Is it only based on creation date, so the most recent article(s) are featured?

I was thinking it would be useful if I could manually designate an article as “featured”, so that it doesn’t automatically get bumped when something newer comes along.

OK…so are you confirming that the “featured” articles are automatically chosen based on creation date?
