Hi,

Has anyone here found a detailed guide on how to edit contents on JA Slideshow II and JA Content Slider Module II modules?

Thanks to all who can be bothered.

    cheers!

    hi ninshen

    what you mean with
how to edit contents

at this page you can find two guides for your template joomla 1.5 and joomla 1.6/1.7 release.

    hi, thanks.

I meant I had replaced the images with my own (instead of those the quickstart template came with, blank squares with pixel size and JOOMLART.COM). If I leave the resource settings be, nothing really happens, meaning no change on the slideshow. And when I change the resource to an image folder (same path directing to slideshow), i maybe lucky to see just one of the images.

you can see if you have the time, you can have a look here. http://www.minannonce.dk/travel

    Hi ninshen

The path for the slideshow images is /images/resized/images/stories/slideshow/

Try to put your images in that folder

    Thanks, I will try that.

Just had a quick look in that folder, and I see all new 5 pix/images are there, although in smaller size (800×300) instead of 960×354, and only one of my pics was there in the size as I’ve uploaded them, i.e. 960×354.

Does it mean, that images uploaded are automatically stored in this folder and resized? Or should I also make sure to make thumbnail verions of images and store them there? What confuses me most is, why are copy of my images stored there downsized to 800 x 300…

    Thanks

To begin with, I quickly stored 960_354 pixels version of all my own images to images/resized/images/stories/slideshow
and voila!! I say my own pics on the front end. A big smile on my face… many many thanks!!!! 🙂

The only thing that you must do is copy your images 960×354 ( this is the size given in the module image settings) in that folder
