January 19, 2009 at 3:04 pm #137253Hi,
I purchased a developer membership on 16th jan 2009, and Now when I go through the copyrights removal pdf it not the same as it says when I purchase and it is stil sthe same.
When we see the main page that compares membership plans only in the developer membership it says copyrights removal is accepted and the hover text says
“Yes. Feel free to remove all JoomlArt Copyright. You can edit the footer as well as remove all releated copyright information of JoomlArt.com in all files.”
Which means I can remove the copyrights information even from the PHP and the css and xml files.
Also it says private branding in developers membership.
But in the members area, the copyrights pdf file restricts me remove the copyrights from the xml and the php files. it just allows me remove the links from the footer only.
SO WHAT IS THE DEAL?
I really dont understand why it says completely different inside the membership area compared to what it says in the main page.
If have no open to remove the copyrights from the files inside I find this developer membership really useless to spend so much. I prefer get a refund in that case.
Hope to get a reply as soon as possible.
Thanks,

January 19, 2009 at 3:10 pm #287096I would say that this is correct: “Yes. Feel free to remove all JoomlArt Copyright. You can edit the footer as well as remove all releated copyright information of JoomlArt.com in all files.”
As you cant read what whas written in the members area before sign up.

January 19, 2009 at 6:02 pm #287122The Copyright Removal Instructions you received is intended for people who have specifically purchased a copyright removal license. These license users can remove copyright info from the frontend only. You were sent it simply to show you how to remove the copyright info.
As you hold a developer license you are allowed remove ALL reference to Joomlart including the headers of PHP and CSS files and the frontend copyright info.
