Hi,

Since JA Social’s 1.7 template not ready I decided to go myself. I did update as follow and I was wondering if I missed any point.

1- Installed JA Social 1.6 with Sample Data freshly.
2- Installed all available updates via JA Extension Manager including T3 Frame.
3- Installed 1.7 update via Joomla’s Extension Manager

Site seems working but I feel lke that is a patch work 🙂 What are you think? Shoudl I wait or proceed? Any recommendation?

Hi,
Actually Joomla 1.6 & 1.7 is not much different.
If you can use J1.6 template on J1.7 as well. So there is no worries: )
