December 30, 2009 at 11:11 am #147167I am getting the message in Internet explorer.
“Did you know that your Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) is out of date?”
Is it related to settings in our JA template. If yes, how can i disable it.

December 30, 2009 at 11:50 pm #327818I dont have this template live, but my guess it’s a setting to be found
in Joomla backend, in the Template settings of this template, click on that one and see on the right if there is a setting referring to IE6 warning , try to turn it off there 😎Anonymous ModeratorJA Developer

December 31, 2009 at 5:04 am #327837Hi
Open templatesja_uranilayoutsdefault.php file, find following code section:
<?php if ($this->isIE6()) : ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock('ie6/ie6warning') ?>
<?php endif; ?>and remove.
January 4, 2010 at 5:59 pm #328167I used this approach on this website http://www.spkids.org and it removed the warning, but in IE6 it leaves that area blank up top where the warning was. Can you tell me how to fix this? Thanks.
