October 8, 2008 at 10:49 am #134163I am curious how it is determined which layout is show.
For example the homepage: http://template.joomlart.com/ja_drimia/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
Now the headlines are shown and only two columns in the menu.
If you look at a page for example the blog: http://template.joomlart.com/ja_drimia/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogsection&id=4&Itemid=9
Now the headlines are gone, and the menu is different even with 1 column. Where is this determined?

October 9, 2008 at 12:53 am #274327Change the columns or the contents of the columns:
Admin Panel –> Extensions –> Module Manager –> Select the module that you wish to change the locations that it will appear –> in the “Position” section you can select the location you wish the module to appear, for example “left” or “right” –> in the “Menu Assignment” section you can assign the pages that the module item will appear, for example “Home” only.

October 9, 2008 at 9:52 am #274410Artaddicted, thanks for your reply. I understand that you define the look by the type you choose. But where can I find these types of layout in the code… if I would like to change some things…

Please go to Extensions-> modules manager, choose a module to edit
you will see that you can set that module display at what menus
At each menu, have some module display and don’t display -> different layout as you seeg1900kon Friendg1900kon

October 10, 2008 at 4:11 pm #274634I still don’t understand how for example I can achieve this:
On the homepage the menu on the left is for example 40% of the screen. If I open an article the menu is 20% of the screen. What if I would like to change the width of the article layout. Where can I find this setting, specific for the article layout.
