    Hi!
    Im using J!2.5.6 and JA Purity II on multilingual site – russian and english. Joomla 2.5 native multilanguage support.
    I want to make a different background for this two languages. This is possible? Like two template.css for both languages or just something like css override?
    Thanks for any clues!

    Regards,
    Yakusa!

    Hi Yakusa,

    I’m not quite sure what modifications you have done upon your installation, would need to take a closer look at your site. Please include screenshot and your site URL here for further investigation.

    You can check language load on your site and switch header EN and RU

    Copy
    <blockquote>plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/blocks/header.php</blockquote>

    Paste to <blockquote>templates/ja_purity_ii/blocks</blockquote>

    Open header.php file use this script below

    $lang = JFactory::getLanguage()->getTag();

    If $lang is RU you load slogan with RU Image and else load EN Image

    You can do that, please look at the link. About all custom works that requires to extend products’ core features as shown on our demo site are not subject to support coverage and should be handled by clients, you can find an expert to have the project done via a reliable freelance site: Joomlancers.com, another network of JoomlArt. I personally recommend as thousands of projects have succeeded on the site.
