May 13, 2008 at 2:49 am #248880It’s posible . You can view thread :http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/use-different-color-schemes-on-different-pages/
to consult !May 17, 2008 at 1:46 am #249453I read that forum post – looked at the teline II theme that has color changing – still can’t figure it out. I need to make various pages of my dravity site use the different color themes, and add some new themes (more colors as well) – can anyone give me a little more help?
Thank you…
May 19, 2008 at 10:41 pm #249808I love this template, really need to have different color on different pages – I enabled it so that I can create a link that has ?ja_color=cyan – but that only changes the color of the existing page – I need to be able to click on a different page or section in the menu and have that be a different color – for instance, pink for health, red for entertainment, etc.
Can anybody help me? I’ve searched all over the forums and haven’t figured it out yet…
May 20, 2008 at 8:39 pm #249926I think it’s a simple thing – I looked at the other thread mentioned above and I don’t know where to insert the code for ids? Please help…

May 21, 2008 at 4:29 am #249959It’s about to change the whole page style and scheme.
When you set the color for each section id in JA News, it will search for the css file match the color you define.
Let say when you put in: 6:red then when you go to section id 6, joomla will search for css file name: theme-red.css locate in folder: templates/ja_teline_ii/css/colors
You can change anything in this css file to match what you required.May 21, 2008 at 4:51 am #249961The only place you could be talking about in the ja news module is the category (section) ID field, and in that field I have:
34,35,36,37,38,39:cyan,902,903,42,44
but category 39 does not pull up the cyan color scheme.

May 21, 2008 at 4:54 am #249963There is no syntax like that.
In your example, please do like this:
<blockquote>34:cyan
35:cyan
36:cyan
37:cyan
38:cyan
39:cyan
</blockquote>Next time, pleare read the userguide carefully before customize your site.
Thank you very much.May 21, 2008 at 5:04 am #249965There is no mention of this color issue ANYWHERE in the user guide, which I read first, thank you very much. And your instructions STILL DO NOT MAKE ANY SENSE.
The user guide says to use this syntax in the Category (section) ID field: 34,35,36,37,38,39,902,903,42,44
So you are saying it should look like this:
34:cyan35:red36:cyanIs that what you are saying?
Can you please explain exactly what to do, very simply, or point me to the user guide that explains this? It’s certainly not in the one at the top of the Dravity forum. I don’t understand what you’re saying at all. I have about 40 Joomla sites up, I’m pretty good at it actually, I just have no idea what you are saying…
May 22, 2008 at 3:52 am #250092Maybe – It looks like the version of ja-news that comes with Dravity is older and doesn’t allow entering the category colors?
However, I installed the version that comes with teline II on Dravity and tried to do the color changes with the correct syntax and couldn’t get it to work either…
