My question is about the subscription for JATC Standard Membership – 3 licensed domain:

If say I have only one website using one of your template, but I have a few domain names e.g. http://www.abc12.com and http://www.cde.com, http://www.xyz.com, all pointed to the same website. Is it considered as 1 licensed domains or 3? What if I have 6 different domains pointed to the same website? Do I need to buy for 6 licensed domain? Do I need to register them all in your website?

I am assuming you will be performing a 301 redirect on the other domain names to prevent a duplicate content issue?

If so, then you only have the template ‘live’ on one domain name, the rest are just ‘aliases’ to the main site?

In which case, as the other domain names hold no real content (and no copy of the template), then I would think this counts as only one ‘licenced domain’ as the template is only being used under one domain.

Register the domain where the template is being used.

Hi layptan03,

I would like to confirm that those domains pointing to the same website shall be considered as one licensed domain, exactly as questbg has explained to you.

Kindly register the domain where the template is being used.
