    Hello

This is from Teline IV sales page: “choose different layout or themes for menu or component, all via ajax-based administration interface”

Already searched forums, and tried my own implementations; but canĀ“t get the following procedure to work:

The quest is to supress left and right1 positions only for the FRONT PAGE. So, in the cpanel of JA_TELINE_IV I go the 3th tab LAYOUTS and create a new one supressing the left and right1 positions. Call this layout FRONTPAGE.

Then, I go to to GLOBAL tab and add new PROFILE OVERRIDE SETTINGS and add the new layout to HOME. But, left and right1 positions are still there.

    Please suggest working procedure.

    Thanks.

    Hi caupolican

I have tried in my localhost and it works fine

Are you sure that you have assigned the new layout at your new profile ?

Have you cleaned your JaT3 cache ?

Thank you pavit for quick reply. Here is the procedure:

    1. Created a new layout (IN 3D TAB LAYOUT) called HOME
    2. Go to first tab, TO PROFILE OVERRIDE SETTINGS and tried to Click To Add, but as HOME is already selected, it wont let me, and CLILCK TO ADD remains. That seems to be the problem.

    Please advice.

    Thanks

    Hi

Thanks for the PM i have noticed your layout called Home without the left and right position

I have also noticed that in Home Profile you have Hide Main content block to Yes so this delete all your main content and in Layout settings

you have Default as Layout and not the home layout

you must choose the Home layout and not default

Your home page with ID = 371 is already assigned to the Default layout ( look the first one ) you must delete that setting, and add your Home profile to the home page in magazine menu

    That’s all try these settings
