Hi.

I wish to use different coloured templates for selected menu items – eg: Same template but Red for Home, Blue for Contact Us etc.

Can anyone assist?

follow my way:
unzip your template and to open tempaltedetails. xml file and change your tempalte name: JA Nickel to JA Nickel red
change your folder of template : JA Nickel to JA Nickel red

user FTP to upload your folder to templates/ folder.
login your backent and click template manager.
Open JA Nickel red and sellect color red.
assign your menu: example Home for new template.

Same with Blue ….
User assign funtions for your menu.
