Is it possible to create a direct link from within the JA-news module?

For example, I have an intro paragraph where I would like the user to be able to click a link to go direct to a different URL or a direct email.

The only way I can direct users is to ensure they click ‘read more’ before they can access any links.

I want to make it as easy as possible for the user to access links to other sites.

On my site I simply used the Insert/Edit Link buttom to insert URLs into the intro paragraph, and it is shown and clickable in the FrontPage News and in the Ja-News modules if that is what you mean.
