something in this theme is redirecting any non exsisting pages to the homepage instead of to a 404 page

why is that?
how can i make it direct to 404 page?

someone can help me i tried all even my server company told me its something in the theme..

Hi sagi,

Please open your error file: templates/system/error.php, and check whether there is any function that redirect 404 page to homepage.

If not, do you install SH404SEF component?
