If you want to have say : http://www.yourname.com then do the following :

upload the quickstart to public_html of your server. From cPanel(assuming you have linux server) unzip within public_html.

    OR

if you want something like : http://www.yourname.com/test then :
create a new folder by name “test” in public_html. upload the quickstart to test within public_html of your server. From cPanel(assuming you have linux server) unzip within public_html.

hope this help. Let me know incase you have any doubts.

Joomla, the template, all modules, plugins and components are installed.

How can I install the directory source after unzipping ja_events?

    1. Create a Database and database user in cPanel
    2. After you unzip the files, just run from the path. For E.g :- http://www.yourname.com or http://www.yourname.com/test (as above) and follow on screen instructions..

Source? If you are talking about the source files directory in the zip that is there for you to edit images in Photoshop or Gimp etc. It is just a directory containing all the images used in the construction of the template. You do not need to upload it.

What images are not appearing. You have almost no content in your site at all. Looking at your backend it appears you have not used the quickstart but instead installed Joomla then all the required components. Or have you deleted all the content and started again?

I think you really need to install from the quickstart as there are loads of settings that you need to know.

Please apply for the install service through your user panel on this site. However it really is easy if you follow the guides and something that can be learned by almost anybody.
