    Hi,

I am plagued with the invalid token issue when visitors are trying to log in to my site. I have tried every solution I can find and none have solved it. I have noticed that it now only happens if you double click on the login button (which unfortunately a lot of people do).

Is there a way of disabling double click just on the login module so that if people do this by accident it does not do anything?

If not, is there a way of adding a custom button that can do this?

I am sure if I can disable double click it will solve my long standing issue. Has anyone ever figured out how to prevent the invalid token issue?

    Hi Melanieb,

Try to use redirect page for redirect to other page when a user login successfully.

    Hi Hero,

using the redirect caused so many other issues for me with regards to the sign up pages so i don’t want to have to go back to that. I have noticed that if I empty the cache folder (via server by clicking on public_html/cache the deleting everything in it, it works. I wonder if there is any way we can make this clear automatically – or is that setting yourself up for worse problems?

I meant to say too that although the double click causes an error, I have since discovered that the invalid token is still there regardless of not double clicking

    Hi Melanieb,

If you have a closer look, you will see this method of Joomla authentication is preventing flood login into your site. Usually, when a user login via form, they will press Enter ( without double click ) after filling username and password. You do not have to worry about that.

    Regards
