We wish to test the cart function and the shipping modules we have enable, but when we go to the checkout we are asked to set up an account which waits for an email verification (we are testing on Localhost)
I don’t think the email process works on Localhost and consequently we get multiple error messages:
* Login denied! Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated it yet. Did you not get an activation e-mail and follow the validation link?

Also of note is that every shop page we browse to now has these login error messages on them
How can we:
1. get rid of the error messages
2. disable this verification process temporarily so we can test the cart/shippingI have attched a couple of images that show the error messages

February 14, 2009 at 12:04 am #291259You can ‘verify’ the user in the Admin backend.
Go to Admin>User Manager>Click a user and set ‘Block User’ to NO
or…
In the list of users in the User Manager click the red X in the ‘enabled’ column to enable the user.
