Hi,
I ‘m going trough the blocks directory looking where I can comment out the newsticker div.
Any help would be appreciated.

Dear xyzb!

The list of newssticker are generated by the ja newssticker module which put on the headlines position. you access the module manager to disable this module

I have it disabled – I would also like to remove the IE6 browser warning as well.
