I want to disable the photo gallery option that has the Template… I want photos the way I want them to appear, specific sizes for different photos, etc…

Hi ecoxport,

are you referring to images inside articles? If so, then simply disable Thumbnail for Joomla content plugin, located in Joomla plugins manager, or set it to manual mode.
