    hi,
    how can i disable the update-function in Blank-Template for Joomla 2.5?
    Do I have to edit the templateDetails.xml?

    Isn’t updating your template a manual/elective issue?

    i have edited the template.css in the template-root, not in the themes-root. Because after a update, the layout isn’t good.
    Now, how can i delete the template update-message in the backend.
    See the attachment.

    I renamed the Purity-template, but the update-message is still coming.

    Whose parameters must i modify, because the updatemessage isn’t coming in the future?

    1. I have renamed the Template-folder
    2. In the “templateDetails.xml”, I have changed the “name”

    <extension
    version=”2.5″
    type=”template”
    method=”upgrade”>
    <name>MyTemplateName</name>
    <version>2.5.0</version>
    <creationDate>February 2012</creationDate>

    Hi,

    It is because of Cache, when you upgrade JA extensions successfully but the Joomla Updater still keeps on telling you that you need to update the JA extensions. Please follow guide in this wiki to fix it: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Extensions_Manager/How-to#Known_issues

    Hope it helps.

    hi Saguaros,
    That’s not my Problem. I have a older Version from the Purity II Template. But i don’t want the Update-Message to be shown in the future again. What do I have to do, to deactivate the Message for newer Versions?

    Hi,

    As I can see from your attached image and I also said above, this message comes from default joomla update – which still cache the older info, please use my above suggestion. If you want to update JA extensions, please kindly go to JA Extension Manager to update.

    If I’m misunderstanding your problem, pm me admin account and steps to reproduce that message, I shall check for you.
