    Hi,

    I do have an issue with pictures in content! Here is my link: http://umrc1.cloudaccess.net/
    I have turn off JA Thumbnail plug in. I am not sure if that causing this problem but I can’t solve it!
    I tried to clean cache couple of times, to open web site in different browser etc. and it couldn’t help.

    Is there some suggestion how I can add pictures in articles without having text to go over it!?

    I tired to make space between pictures and text and didn’t help much.

    Attached picture of this issue as well.

    Thank you in advance for your support
    Branko

    It’s normal. I tested it on my chrome 17 for Ubuntu 10.04. There is a snapshot

    Hi khoand,

    First off, thank you for your quick respond. I highly appreciate it.

    Somehow I was able to fix that part but I still facing an issue with text and pictures in article. For example you’ll see in attachment or on the same link: http://umrc1.cloudaccess.net/

    I do have have to much space below this picture/those pictures. I tried to turn off JA Thumbnail plug in and I tried to play with alignment (left, bottom etc.) in picture setting. I do have JCE editor. And I still can’t make it.

    It is strange since JA Thumbnail plug is off and also it is still adding frame on pictures. So I guess maybe there is some problem!?

    My goal is just to be able to create article and pictures in it on order how I would like – to treat that article as regular article (if I want to put picture on right/left/bottom and text below/above etc. Instead having this presetup features.

    Once again thank you for your time and support in regard to this matter.

    You try a way.
    – You replace the code from /templates/ja_social/css/template.css

    .article-image {
    float: left;
    width: 130px;
    }

    with

    .article-image {
    float: left;
    width: 140px;
    }

    And you remove the code

    .fp-article-content {
    padding-left: 145px;
    }

    Hi khoand,

    First off, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was playing around with this issue. Finally I used your advice and deleted some additional codes below and worked well. Now I do have CSS overlap with some others CSS. However, I am able to achieve my goal and I’ll mange this small issue. Once again thank you for your great support.

    All the best,
    Branko

    P.S. Here is additional code what I deleted to solve in fully this issue.

    .img-fulltext-left {
    float: left;
    }

    .img-fulltext-right {
    float: right;
    }

    I was having this same issue. I finally fixed it by changing the home menu item. When the menu item type was set to featured articles I would get the image and text overlap but if I used a different menu type like single article the overlap didn’t happen.

    Thank you Mical for adding your experience to this post.

    I was able to solve it by following previous advice. In addition, I’ll pay attentions to featured features with articles in the future…

    All the best,
